Your fees for all the various ways you can come to Nimrod are below.

Artist or Writer Week Long Sessions

Week long Workshops including 5 nights, your workshop and all meals, is $925. It is paid in two separate installments. To reserve your space, register online when posted or via regular mail (application posted Feb 10)and pay the deposit of $375. When you arrive at Nimrod, you will pay your remainder of $550 with check or cash. Gratuity for the staff is paid on this amount on Thursday night, with a separate check or cash for the the staff who works hard to keep you happy.! 15-20% of your fee paid when you arrive at Nimrod is the standard gratuity for our wait staff, our outdoor help and housekeepers. Anyone who works for your stay to be as nice as it can be. Checks or cash are the easiest way to navigate paying anything at Nimrod as we do not take Credit Cards on site, but only online for deposits.

Artist Weekend Workshops

Weekend Workshop cost is $380 including room and all meals. It is paid in two separate installments. To reserve your space, click above to register online and pay by credit card or via regular mail and pay a deposit of $140. The check should made to Nimrod Hall. When you arrive at Nimrod, you will pay your remainder of $240. Gratuity for the staff is paid on this amount on Thursday Night and can be written into your check. 15-20% of your stay is a usual gratuity and we expect the staff to earn it!Checks are the easiest way to navigate paying anything at Nimrod as we do not take Credit Cards on site, but only for deposits.

Nimrod is all inclusive with a room, a shared bath, 3 meals a day and includes all linens. We have an art store on site and souvenir shop, all of which only take checks or cash. Yes. We are old fashioned, but that is what we love about it!
 

Studio Rental

  • $120 per week long session (to be included with your deposit check).

  • $75 for weekend workshops (to be included with your deposit check).

This includes a private space to work on Studio Hill with a bathroom to share for the studios. Each studio will have a table and chair, a fan, and an easel. If there are studio's that are not rented when you arrive you also may rent them when you come. Some weeks they are in more demand than others, so that choice is yours.

To register for an Artist or Writer Week click above to use our new online registration and pay your deposit with a credit card or simply print out the application found  above and snail mail it to Laura Loe (address below) with your deposit. Once I get your deposit, you will get a confirmation email. If you do not get an email after about a week feel free to make sure your application is received and registered by emailing me at laura@nimrodhall.com

If the week you want is full, I will email you other options. I will keep the status updated about closings on the artist week description page.

VERY IMPORTANT: In keeping with Nimrod Hall tradition, artists/writers who attended last summer have an earlier registration window than new artists. All applicants. Please be aware that unless I get a paper application with deposit check enclosed the process isn’t complete and online is the fastest and surest way to get the week you want.

We will continue to accept applications, as space allows, until the sessions begin. If the week you selected is full, you will be contacted with options for other weeks. We will post online as soon as the week fills. We fill all weeks on a first come, first served basis. A waiting list will begin when a week is filled in the event that a participant has to cancel.

Many times people will get in from the wait list so it does not mean an absolute no go. Being flexible is the key. Many times being able to attend at the last minute is the key to getting a spot. Once registered you will get a confirmation email from us re: Bookeo so check your spam if you do not get a confirmation.. Your e-mail confirmation will act as your receipt. Your remaining payment of $550 per week will be paid when you arrive at Nimrod Hall with a check or cash.  We usually collect checks the first or second day.  Closer to your workshop you will get an email reminder to come attend your workshop! Please apply early, so you get the artist in residence you prefer.

No deposits will be refunded if you cancel within the last 60-days before your registered workshop. This is something that has to be followed as we are crippling along keeping this marvelous place alive. As you can imagine, life throws you curveballs. but we have to keep the workshops full and a last minute cancellation is hard to fill. Please understand that if you cancel last minute, or within the 60 days before your workshop, you will most likely not get a refund. Being seasonal we have to have a strict approach.
