Your fees for all the various ways you can come to Nimrod are below. Many people come to more than one week or tack a weekend on the end of a week which is fine.

Artist Week Long Sessions

Week long Workshops including all meals, is $795. It is paid in two separate installments. To reserve your space, register online above or via regular mail and pay the deposit of $340.  When you arrive at Nimrod, you will pay your remainder of $455. Gratuity for the staff is paid on this amount on Thursday night and the staff works hard to keep you happy! They hope for 15-20% of your fees paid when you arrive at Nimrod, not on the full amount.  Checks are the easiest way to navigate paying anything at Nimrod, but we also take cash. We do not take Credit Cards on site.

Artist Weekend Workshops

Weekend Workshop cost is $340 including room and all meals. It is paid in two separate installments. To reserve your space, click above to register online and pay by credit card or via regular mail and pay a deposit of $140. The check should made to Nimrod Hall. When you arrive at Nimrod, you will pay your remainder of $200. Gratuity for the staff is paid on this amount on Thursday Night and can be written into your check. We hope for 15-20% of your stay and expect the staff to earn it! Checks are the easiest way to navigate paying anything at Nimrod, but we also take cash. We do not take Credit Cards.
 

Writer Week Long Sessions

For the writer week including Sheri Reynolds, Cathy Hankla and Charlotte Morgan we are run it an extra day to end on Saturday. Your payment for the week is $935 to be paid in two separate installments. $340 to reserve you space with $595 to be paid when you arrive at Nimrod Hall for your workshop. Gratuity for the staff is paid on the $595 amount at the end of the week. Checks are the easiest way to navigate paying anything at Nimrod, but we also take cash. We do not take Credit Cards.

For Charlotte Morgans week the payment is $795 for the week paid in two separate installments.  Send $340 to reserve your space and pay the remainder when you come to Nimrod. Gratuity for the staff is paid on the the $455. Gratuity for the staff is paid on this amount on Thursday night. Checks are the easiest way to navigate paying anything at Nimrod, but we also take cash. We do not take Credit Cards.

Studio Rental

  • $120 per week long session (to be included with your deposit check).
  • $75 for weekend workshops (to be included with your deposit check).

This includes a private space to work on Studio Hill with a bathroom to share for the studios. Each studio will have a table and chair, a fan, and an easel. If there are studio's that are not rented when you arrive you also may rent them when you come. Some weeks they are in more demand than others, so that choice is yours.

If you do not get an email after about a week feel free to make sure your application is received and registered by emailing me at laura@nimrodhall.com

VERY IMPORTANT: In keeping with Nimrod Hall tradition, artists/writers who attended last summer have an earlier registration window than new artists. This can cause weeks to close earlier than it seems possible. New Nimroders (ones who did not attend last summer) will be registered as of Feb 1st even if I receive your application before that date.  If you are a first time Nimroder, consider a few weeks to choose from your initial year! Once you are in - YOU have the advantage!

All applicants. Please be aware that unless I get a paper application with deposit check enclosed the process isn’t complete.

We will continue to accept applications, as space allows, until the sessions begin. If the week you selected is full, you will be contacted with options for other weeks. We will post online as soon as the week fills. We fill all weeks on a first come, first served basis. A waiting list will begin when a week is filled in the event that a participant has to cancel.

Many times people will get in from the wait list so it does not mean an absolute no go. Being flexible is the key. Many times being able to attend at the last minute is the key to getting a spot. Once you print and send the application, enclose your deposit amount of $300 or $120. Once registered you will get a confirmation email from us. Your e-mail confirmation will act as your receipt. Your remaining payment of $485 or $195 will be paid when you arrive at Nimrod Hall.  We usually collect checks the first or second day.  Closer to your workshop you will get an email reminder. There is a link FOR PARTICIPANTS with directions, tips, phone numbers and all information you will need to know.

In line with tradition, we give a 15% gratuity to the staff at the end of our stay. This gratuity is based on the the $485 only. This is a separate transaction handled at the end of the week along with payment of Art Box Artist supplies, T- shirts and any canteen expenses. Dust off and bring your check book to help expedite things!

Please apply early, so you get the artist in residence you prefer. Each artist session has 22 participants total, 11 per artist on 2 artist weeks, 22 on one artist weeks. Writers are limited to 9 participants per session. 

No deposits will be refunded if you cancel within the last 60-days before your registered workshop. This is something that has to be followed. As you can imagine, life throws you curveballs. but we have to keep the workshops full to keep this fabulous place around. Please understand that if you cancel last minute, you will not get a refund.
